Humanis an intellective animal (hayawan al-Nathiq). The human progress is not because of their knowledge therefore the human always try to gain the truth. To gain the truth, we need a method to reveal the truth in objectively and universally. Further, there are two methods to get a truth; they are rationalism and empiricism that bring out of many epistemological. Islam is no exception. In principle, Islam has comprehensive epistemology as a key to find knowledge that is epistimology about bayani based on the teks or nash, burhani based on thinking and rasional, and Irfani based on intuitive or kasyf. From three epistimological tendencies (bayani, irfani, and burhani), in its development is dominated by style of bayani as so textual and style of irfani as sufistic.
