Abstract

The Song Dynasty was a prosperous dynasty in the history of Chinese painting. Its genre paintings and literati paintings blended and influenced each other to form an aesthetic taste of “elegant and popular appreciation”. The Southern Song Dynasty Li Song’s “Trading Lang” integrated folk customs and sentiment, and became a special image of Song Dynasty genre paintings. expression. This article analyzes the functions and deeper meanings behind the pictures from the three levels of visual presentation, schema formation, and reality reflection through the study of Li Song’s “Picture of Goodsman” in the Southern Song Dynasty. Analyzing the civic culture, aesthetic taste, and business economy of the Song Dynasty, the visual data of its image provides valuable materials for studying the economic and cultural life of the Song Dynasty.
