Welcome to the 7th International Symposium on Mathematics Education and Innovation (ISMEI 2022). ISMEI is a biennial event initiated and organized by SEAQiM. This activity is a space for disseminating works and exchanging ideas about innovations in mathematics education for teachers, education staff, policymakers, and related stakeholders. This symposium aims to (1) provide an international platform for practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders in the fields of education on mathematics to share ideas and experiences, learn new knowledge and good practices, and disseminate the latest research results; (2) contribute to the topic of numeracy, especially in the Southeast Asia region; and (3) build and expand academic cooperation networks at the regional level. The theme for this year is, “Transforming Education by Reimaging Numeracy Learning”.
