- Abstract
This paper addresses the collaborative optimization problem of electric bus scheduling and charging by constructing a hybrid optimization model aimed at minimizing fleet size and maximizing vehicle utilization. An improved heuristic algorithm is employed to solve the model, and simulation experiments are conducted using actual operational data. The results demonstrate that the model can achieve complete assignment of all trips and efficient resource utilization, while adhering to constraints related to time windows, power capacity, and charging facilities, resulting in a vehicle utilization rate of 85%. This validates the model's effectiveness and engineering practicality and provides decision support for the intelligent scheduling system of electric buses.
