Abstract

In order to prevent severity traffic accident on freeway caused by tire blowout, it is necessary to monitor the tire pressure in real time. This paper established a linear model between the force and the slip to estimate the tire radius through least square ,where only ABS wheel speed sensors were used. The result of the simulation about this method is perfect ,it is a effective method for indirect tire pressure monitoring.
