Website: http://www.mmetss.org The 2023 8th International Conference on Modern Management and Education Technology (MMET 2023) was held via virtual form in Shanghai, China, during 22–24 September 2023. Following the successes of the previous conferences, the aim of this year’s conference was to present the most recent advances in the fields of modern management and education technology. The MMET 2023 was jointly hosted by Sichuan University, China and Uttaradit Rajabhat University, Thailand. With more than 100 participants from many well-known universities and academic institutes at home and abroad, the conference was a great success. It is of great significance for disseminating cutting-edge information in disciplines and industry, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and condensing academic achievements in the industry at this event. The conference consisted of three keynote lectures (addressed by Professor Mohammad Akour, Professor Stuart Perrin, and Associate Professor Hafizoah Kassim, respectively), a number of oral presentations and poster presentations, in which a wide range of topics were covered and the most recent significant results were presented. From the perspective of industry status, development trends, and cutting-edge technologies, our keynote speakers performed special speeches on popular disciplines such as Virtual and Distance Learning, Innovative Management Techniques for Education, Educational Games and Simulations, Sustainable Development Management, Educational Economic Project Management, etc. And the attending scholars and experts deeply exchanged the latest research achievements and advanced experience in the industry development and shared their unique insights into development trends and research directions of the industry. The selected works presented in the conference are published in this edition of Atlantis Press. We wish to acknowledge all the participants and the support of our sponsors.
