Abstract

Tire noise is one of the main sources of car noise. In order to research on the tire noise, analysis method based on wavelet transform was proposed. Compared with traditional analysis methods, wavelet transform can ef-fectively and intuitively find the effect of tire pattern arrangement on measurement noise. The simulation re-sults show that tire noise is reduced by improving the pattern arrangement.
