Abstract

With the increasing requirements of inter-disciplinary talents in the market economy, many university students choose to pursue the study of “Major + English” dual-degree. The paper firstly analyzes the present situation of teaching and studying of “Major + English” dual-degree in Chinese universities. Then, it proposes a teaching mode based on ESP theory, which is made up of the three modular courses “English language skill classes + public basic course + ESP professional courses”, the practice, the second classroom, and network platform.
