Website: https://qir.eng.ui.ac.id/ The 19th International Conference on Quality in Research (QiR) 2025 proudly continues its tradition as one of Indonesia’s premier international conferences in engineering and technology. Jointly organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (UI), and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), QiR serves as a dynamic platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry leaders to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and foster impactful collaborations. Under the theme ‘Empowering Indonesia Through AI Driven Innovation and Solutions for a Better Future,’ QiR 2025 explores how artificial intelligence can accelerate technological advancement, support sustainable development, and address emerging societal challenges. The conference brings together a diverse range of disciplines through five technical tracks: • Smart Infrastructure and Sustainable Design in Built Environments (SISDBE)
• Advanced Transportation Systems, Mechanical, and Ocean Technologies (ATSMOT)
• Artificial Intelligence and Automation for Smart Systems (AIASS)
• Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies (AMMT)
• Renewable Energy and Clean Technology Innovations (RECTI) This year, QiR 2025 is further strengthened through its collaboration with two distinguished international events: the 10th International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering (ISBE) and the 10th Indonesia Japan Joint Scientific Symposium (IJJSS) 2025. The integration of these conferences encourages broader interdisciplinary engagement and creates opportunities for meaningful collaboration across engineering, biomedical sciences, information technology, and related research domains. Maintaining a strong commitment to academic excellence, all submitted manuscripts were subjected to a comprehensive double blind peer review process conducted by experts in their respective fields. Through this rigorous evaluation, the conference ensures the publication of high quality research contributions that provide both scientific significance and practical relevance. QiR 2025 is honored to host distinguished keynote speakers: Prof. Dr. Ir. Dodi Sudiana, M.Eng. from Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Ali Malkawi from Harvard University, and Prof. Yew Soon Ong from Nanyang Technological University. Their expertise and perspectives are expected to stimulate insightful discussions and inspire future innovations in engineering and technology. We express our sincere gratitude to all authors, reviewers, speakers, sponsors, committee members, and participants for their valuable contributions and support.
