Abstract

This paper aims to explore the advantages of corpus in EFL (English as Foreigner Language) vocabulary teaching by analyzing data in vocabulary teaching. The study shows that there are three advantages in EFL Vocabulary Teaching based on corpus: to improve the efficiency in vocabulary teaching by providing the word frequency, to avoid the negative language transfer and to enhance the learners’ comprehension and acquisition of the vocabulary.
