The paper focuses on the amount of financial resources invested in the speculative financial market; a significant regional differentiation; a low inflow of foreign investments, a profound government policy aimed at creating competitive innovative sectors of the economy. The conditions for improving investment processes in the Russian economy are formulated on the basis of the analysis made on the factors that hinder the investment activities.
Abstract
