Abstract

Objective: To analyze the effect of smoking on Hemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood of active smokers at Health care center of East Banjarmasin. Technology or Method: This study used Cross-Sectional, with sample 60 people in Health care center area of eastern city of East Banjarmasin . Data analyzed using Chi Square test with a confidence level of 95%. Results: This study showed that there was a significant difference of hemoglobin level in active smokers with (p= 0.001 < 0.005). Conclusion: Smoking will have a significant effect on the decrease of blood hemoglobin levels On active smokers.
