Abstract

ince the 1950s,especially the 1970s,a large number of Western women photographers haverisen ,using their own bodies as subjects, and self-photography as an all edge tool, cutting into care of the social and culture deveplopmont, making multiple photographic styles from a new moden visual culture landscape, and becoming one of integral parts of the modem visual culture. Westem women selfporait photography is not only the new wave of the development of modem photography,but also create a photographic culture phenomenon which from the female’s visual angle, and consider self-portrait photography as the starting point to radiation explore the gender, class,race and other issues at all levels.
