Website: http://www.ss-esd.org Under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, people pay more and more attention to physical health, and wisdom education emerges as the times require. The 2022 International Conference on Sport Science, Education and Social Development (SSESD 2022) was successfully held from July 15 to 17 in Kunming, China. The conference aims to provide an opportunity for engineers and scientists to share knowledge, deliberates the practical challenges encountered, and provides solutions for reference in respective domains worldwide and for all participants to acquire some knowledge on health. During this conference, we were greatly honored to have Prof. Luiz Moutinho from University of Suffolk, England, to serve as our Conference General Chair. And there were over 100 individuals who attended the conference. Divided into two parts, the conference agenda covered keynote speeches and oral presentations. Firstly, keynote speakers were each allocated 30–45 minutes to hold their speeches. Then in the oral presentations, the excellent papers we had selected were presented by their authors by turns. Three distinguished keynote speakers were invited to deliver their speeches in this conference. Among them, Prof. Zhenxin Nie from Yunnan Vocational College of Sports, China, delivered a speech on the title Basic Logic and Innovative Development of Sports Industry. He presented us the concept of body flow, the main contents of current medical consumption, the foundation of the sports industry, etc. He also talked about that to do a good job in youth sports is to grasp the fundamental of the sustainability in sports industry. What’s more, Prof. Houlin Li from Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, China, made a report on Analysis of the Development Trend of Women’s Throwing in Recent Six Olympic Games and Gray Prediction Based on MATLAB. This study analyzed the changes of the best final scores, top three scores, and top eight scores of women’s throwing events in the 27th–32nd Olympic Games by using the method of literature, logical analysis, mathematical statistics, MATLAB gray prediction method, and logical analysis. The brilliant speeches of each keynote speaker had triggered heated discussion in the conference. In addition, their speeches won the praise of every participant for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge. The proceedings of SSESD 2022 span over three topical tracks, which include the Value of Physical Education of the Times, Digital Technology, Innovation, and Education, as well as Education, Research, and Globalization. All the papers have been checked through rigorous review and processes to meet the requirements of publication. On behalf of the conference organizing committee, we’d like to show our congratulation and sincere gratitude to all the speakers, peer reviewers, and all the participants. Furthermore, our special thanks go to the Advances in Social Science, Education and Humanities Research, for all efforts of the colleagues in publishing this paper volume.
