Abstract

At the national Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities at the end of 2016, President Xi stressed that “all kinds of courses should work in the same direction as ideological and political courses to form synergistic effects”, and the Document no. 31 points out: “We should fully explore and use the ideological and political education resources contained in all disciplines, and guide the ideological value through all links of the teaching process. “On March 18, 2019, President Xi jinping emphasized that “we should adhere to the unity of explicit education and implicit education, explore ideological and political education resources contained in other courses and teaching methods, and realize all-round education of all students” once again. On November 27, 2019, President Xi jinping pointed out, “The military education policy for the new era is to adhere to the Absolute leadership of the Party over the armed forces, serve to build a strong and prosperous army, cultivate personnel with moral integrity, cultivate personnel for war, and cultivate a new type of high-quality and professional military personnel with both political integrity and ability. “In 2021, the PLA promulgated and implemented the “Regulations on Military Academy Education (Trial)”and “Opinions on Building the People’s Army Ideological and Political Education System in the New Era”, which further clarified specific policy guidelines for improving the quality of ideological and political courses and innovating the construction of ideological and political courses. This series of important instructions by the CPC Central Committee and President Xi jinping marks the formation of a new thinking, new trend and new pattern of moral cultivation in universities -- to cultivate qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism, it is necessary to combine explicit and implicit thinking and politics, knowledge imparting and value guiding, and form a joint educational force. The author believes that the military academy, as the main position to train revolutionary soldiers in the new era of “four have”, should take the lead in the construction of ideological and political curriculum in the national universities. Sorting out the urgency and realistic possibility of carrying out research is the theoretical premise and basis of carrying out countermeasures research, and is also the purport of this paper.
