The interdisciplinary characteristics of the digital media art major have led to the combination of technology and art in practical teaching, especially the impact of technological changes on teaching. This article takes the meta-universe imagination that is the focus of teaching as an entry point, explains the influence of technological development on design teaching represented by digital media art from the perspective of own professional construction, teaching practice experience and teaching design management, and summarizes the problems that need to be addressed in future instructional design.
