Abstract

In this paper, we propose a classification framework of recommendation problems. In this framework, the problems of recommendation are classified according to the input and output of the problems. Different kinds of recommendation problems are introduced under this framework. And the corresponding recommendation approaches are also introduced briefly. At the end of this paper, possible research directions are provided.
