Abstract

The paper considers the solution of the photogrammetric problem of measuring the planar objects dimensions with projective distortions that are characteristic for low-altitude photography. It is shown that a bird's eye view transformation technique allows estimating the area occupied by planar objects with a relative error of up to 5ÿ%.
