Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between learning models and students' confidence in class VIII SMP. This research was conducted on eighth grade junior high school students. then the treatment location was at Bandar Setia Ujujng Private Middle School, Jl.Pengabdian No. 75 Bandar Setia, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, with a sample of 30 students. This study uses a purposive sample treatment by level 2 x 2. Data collection techniques in this study use portfolio sheets to test the learning outcomes of orthodox style shot put and questionnaires to measure student confidence in learning. Data analysis techniques using two-way analysis of variance (ANAVA) and then proceed with the homogeneity test. The results of this study are (1) There is a difference between the snowball throwing learning model and the self-check learning model because F0 (A) = 1621.69> Ftab = 4.11 then H0 is rejected, the conclusion (1) there are differences in learning outcomes of shot put on orthodox style material between students who were treated using snowball throwing learning models and students who were treated using self-learning learning models, to the learning outcomes of shot put on orthodox style material, (2) There was no interaction between snowball throwing learning models and models self-study because the price is calculated Fo interaction = 0.02 and F table = 4.05 shows that the function Fo
