Abstract

By using the finite element software, the thermal process of TC4 Ti-alloy large die forging two beam is analyzed, the influence of billet initial heating temperature and compressor speed on the distribution of grain and phase is revealed. The research shows that fine and uniform microstructure will be obtained when the billet initial heating temperature is 980 and at the same time compressor speed scheme of two straight ladder variable loading is used.
