- Abstract
Culture-loaded terms in TCM are the key and difficulty point of TCM translation. Studying the translation method of Chinese medicine culture-loaded terms has significance to Chinese medicine translation. This paper briefly divides the Chinese medicine culture-loaded terms into proper nouns, traditional Chinese medicine terms and religious and philosophical terms, and probes into English translation based on different classifications. introduces the translation methods of commonly used traditional Chinese medicine terms. Finally, it summarizes the translation methods of different Chinese medicine culture-loaded terms, in order to promote the efficient dissemination of TCM culture and contribute to the development of TCM English translation.
