Abstract

The present study focuses on the attitude of undergraduates to homosexuality in mainland China. Taking a medical university in Southwest China as an example, a questionnaire survey was conducted among undergraduates. Results: the students who are single in love have higher recognition of homosexuality than those who are in love; male students have higher recognition of homosexuality than female students; students living in cities have higher recognition of homosexuality than students living in towns or rural areas; students with lower score of adolescent sexual mental health have higher recognition of homosexuality. Conclusion: there are differences in gender, urban and rural, love or not, and mental health score of undergraduates on homosexuality.
