Abstract

Language development could be influenced by many factors and one of them, especially in today’s super scientific era, would be technology. This paper shows the easy, enjoyable and effective impact of technology on English as a third language in Inner Mongolia, China around in the first decade of 21st century by analyzing the technology-based college English learning, teaching and acquisition in some major higher education institutes based on the author’s individual experience. Illustrating some relation between English and technology, this paper advocates a broader application of technology in second language related study, work and researches.
