Abstract

A kind of adverse selection problem when integrating AHP and integer 0/1 programming to aid decision-making is discussed. The causes of the problem are analyzed. A new model based on AHP range estimation and parametric programming is created to improve the old one and solve the adverse selection problem. At last, a numerical example shows the effectiveness and validity to apply this model. The methodology in this paper is easy to be expanded to other programming forms integrated with AHP to aid decision-making.
