Welcome to the Proceedings of the Indo-Bhutan Social Science Conference 2025 (IBSSC 2025). The central theme of the conference “Envisioning the Future: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Resilience, Inclusion, Sustainability, Social Transformation and Saving the Planet” encouraged discussions across a wide range of disciplines, including social work, education, political science, economics, culture, environment, and business studies. Participants explored how social science research can contribute to inclusive growth, social equity, sustainable development, and cross-border collaboration between India and Bhutan.
