Website: ibsscconf-site.onrender.com The Indo-Bhutan Social Science Conference 2025 (IBSSC) was held from 3rd to 6th September 2025 at Paro College of Education, Paro, Bhutan, in hybrid mode. Organized by the Department of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar in academic collaboration with Royal Thimphu College, the event brought together academicians, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from India, Bhutan, and beyond to engage in meaningful interdisciplinary dialogue. The central theme of the conference “Envisioning the Future: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Resilience, Inclusion, Sustainability, Social Transformation and Saving the Planet” encouraged discussions across a wide range of disciplines, including social work, education, political science, economics, culture, environment, and business studies. Participants explored how social science research can contribute to inclusive growth, social equity, sustainable development, and cross-border collaboration between India and Bhutan. A total of over 200 papers were presented under eight core thematic areas: 1. Society, Equity, Transformation & Social Work

General Social Science and Interdisciplinary Themes These proceedings comprise a selection of peer-reviewed papers that reflect the academic diversity, intellectual rigor, and cultural spirit of the Indo-Bhutan partnership. The editors express their sincere gratitude to all contributors, reviewers, and organizing team members for their scholarly engagement and cooperation throughout the process.
