- Abstract
Jam Janeng is one of the arts which was originally created as an instrument for the spread of Islam in Kebumen, Central Java, Indonesia. Besides this, the dancers must also be very accurate in carrying out movements and controlling changes in rhythm from fast and slow movements or rhythms, short tempos and long tempo, especially Do Janeng Mas’s which uses a combination of rhythm from the Dolalak movement and Banyumasan with a flowing rhythm, fast, stomping, and slowly adjusted to JamJaneng poetry which is presented in it
