Abstract

This paper investigates a design of a energy harvester that uses magnetic levitation to produce an oscillator with a appendage linear spring. The harmonic balance method is developed to analyze the frequency-amplitude response relationship. The numerical results show that the strength and bandwidth of energy harvesting are improved by adjusting the mass ratio. The analytical results are supported by the numerical solutions.
