Welcome to the the International Conference on Applied Science and Technology on Social Science (iCAST-SS) 2021. On Behalf of the conference committee, I would like to welcome all the keynote speakers, (1) Prof. Dr. Arshad Ahmad from School of Chemical and Engeneering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, (2) Prof. Peter Sheehan from Victoria University, Melbourne Australia, (3) Mr. Teten Hadi Rustendi, Director & COO of PT. Badak NGL, (4) Mr. Muhammad Yamin, Presiden Director of Bank Kaltimtara. This year, iCAST-SS 2021 was conducted in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. And in respect to the covid-19 pandemic, iCAST-SS 2021 is held on a hybrid conference for ceremony and the panelist presentation by online. iCAST-SS 2021 aimed to meet the demands of the academia and industries to give solution on Developing innovation and green technology to sustain the economic and social life in new normal during the pandemic covid-19. It is one of the most comprehensive conferences focused on solving problems occurring in industrial environments and green technology. Furthermore, future iCAST will constitute opportunity for academics and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues and progresses in the area of information science and technology. Therefore, we expect iCAST to become a significant milestone for further related research and innovation of technology.
