Abstract

This paper aims to determine the effect of incentives (X) on work motivation (Y) at the State Ownership Enterprise Financial Company in Indonesia. The population of this study were employees at the head office of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk. This paper is a descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. Data were collected by disseminating questionnaires to the PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk employees in Head Office and analyzed with linear regression. The study found that incentive significantly affects work motivation because the significance value is 0.003 or less than 0.05. Moreover, the result of the r count is 3,138 (more than r table 2,024), which implies that the higher the employees' incentives, the higher the work motivation they had.
