Abstract

This paper first gives a brief overview of the material characteristics and expression techniques of the murals in the Tang Dynasty. Then it explores the methods of studying them and the significance and value of the status quo facsimile of them. Finally it expounds the enlightenment of the material application and expression techniques of the murals in the Tang Dynasty on the creation of contemporary fine brushwork.
