Abstract

Water culture is profound and it is an important part of excellent Chinese culture. Hubei’s water culture refers to the Hubei native culture which includes the material and spiritual aspects of science and humanity related to water. This paper attempts to explore Hubei water culture resources to kindergarten education in four aspects, namely, understanding water, using water, protecting water and appreciating water. Moreover, through establishment of rich water environment, implementation of specialized water education/teaching activities and perfection of the cooperation amongst kindergarten, family and community, multi-field education can be carried out so as to more effectively promote the comprehensive and harmonious development of young children.
