Abstract

A 2-dimensional plain strain finite element seismic soil-structure interaction (SSI) analysis based on the substructure method is presented. A complete SSI analysis is performed. Namely, linear and non-linear SSI analysis is considered; and analysis without the consideration of SSI is performed; and non-linear material behavior is considered.
