Abstract

This paper concluded and analyzed the depiction that concerned concrete frost mechanism for many years. The main theories are phase change process of water into ice, the existence of water in the concrete forms and gap on the water hydrostatic pressure and osmotic pressure hypothesis, freeze-thaw critical saturated value and moisture migration and dry.
