Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of school-based management to improve the quality of education in MAN 6 Pidie. This study is a case study which is focused on one phenomenon that is selected and understood in depth. The data was collected using observation, interview and documentary studies. The subjects were principals, vice principals, teachers and school committees. The data analysis technique was carried out through two activity, namely data presentation and data verification. The results of data analysis show that the implementation of school-based management by the principal at MAN Negeri 6 Pidie is excellent in accordance with the policies and planning. In addition, school principal is always responding and looking for solution to every problem in implementing school-based management (SBM).
