Abstract

In the current global development trend, the marine sector is becoming increasingly significant to the socioeconomic goals of coastal nations. The sea is a storehouse of natural resources with enormous potential for the growth of renewable energy, industry, commerce, tourism, and logistics, in addition to being an essential transportation route and a location where humans may survive. The primary goal of this study is to analyze the sustainable expansion of Quang Ngai’s marine economy within the context of global economic integration. An analysis of the province’s present marine economic development serves as the foundation for suggesting strategic methods to achieve the goals of economic growth and wealth generation from the sea. These include improving research and forecasting of marine and island resources, protecting the marine environment, increasing investment in maritime infrastructure, developing integrated marine-island economic management, and optimizing the structure of marine companies. Through these studies and evaluations of Quang Ngai’s marine economic development, this paper provides practical recommendations that assist the province’s objective of rapid and sustained marine economic growth.
