Abstract

The National Conference on ideological and political work and the implementation outline of the quality Project of ideological and political work in Colleges and Universities by the Ministry of Education put forward new requirements for ideological and political education in colleges and universities. As the most popular digital tool, new media is deeply loved by college students. As ideological educators in colleges and universities, they should make full use of new media to carry out ideological and political work. This paper expounds the significance of ideological and political education and the meaning of new media, and analyzes the existing problems by means of investigation, finally analyzes the reasons and puts forward some countermeasures.
