Abstract

An improved localization algorithm based on wireless sensor network is proposed to improve the localization accuracy of DV-HOP algorithm in wireless sensor networks. The new algorithm uses three edge distance method to calculate the position relationship between unknown nodes and anchor nodes. MATLAB simulation results show that the new algorithm can effectively improve the positioning accuracy and positioning speed, but the computation overhead is larger, and the energy loss of the node is faster than other conditions.
