Abstract

Microteaching remains a cornerstone in teacher education for fostering pedagogical skills among pre-service teachers. Despite its widespread application, the process often lacks objective, timely, and actionable feedback crucial elements for meaningful improvement. This study aims to integrate deep learning technologies into microteaching to enhance feedback mechanisms and facilitate the development of teacher competencies. The proposed system will leverage AI to provide automated, real-time feedback based on detailed analysis of teaching performance. By doing so, this research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the application of AI in educational settings, particularly in teacher training, and underscores the transformative potential of AI in fostering more effective and personalized professional development for teachers. The expected outcomes include: (1) a deep learning model for automated evaluation of microteaching, (2) a real-time feedback system powered by artificial intelligence, and (3) scholarly evidence on the effectiveness of deep learning applications in teacher training. The study contributes to the growing body of research in educational innovation and underscores the potential of AI in transforming teacher development practices.
