Abstract
As a unique artistic category in film art, animation undergoes history of development from silent to sound, from black & white to color, from film to digital and from two-dimension to three-dimension. In its development course, animation production technology opens up a wide expression stage for animation and brings audiences a great deal of fun. Then, the present digital technology, as one of new technical means, provides animation production with more advanced production methods, result in great changes in both connotation and extension of animation production and prompt animation production flows to have great changes. Therefore, this paper makes a detailed analysis by centering on practical application of digital technology in animation production and proposes development prospect of digital technology in animation production based on this analysis.
