Abstract

In the era of big data, information redundancy and load have brought great challenges to organization managers. Based on the theory of cognitive information processing, this paper deeply analyses the impact of information processing on managers'efficacy. 112 managers and their corresponding 464 direct subordinates were selected for empirical study. The results show that information processing can promote managers'efficacy. In practice, it provides a theoretical basis for managers to enhance their self-efficacy through information processing.
