- Abstract
From a social-innovation perspective, this study employs literature review and field investigation, integrates participatory design, and conducts prototyping in an RV-travel scenario. It identifies key pain points and a hierarchy of needs among “new older adults,” including those born in the 1960s, aiming to enhance their well-being and social participation in mobile eldercare. Strategies are proposed for needs insight and stratification, co-creation collaboration, PSS integration, age-friendly safety and data governance, and pilot evaluation. On this basis, a mobile-eldercare product–service system and information-platform scheme is constructed, yielding the information architecture, main processes, low-fidelity prototypes, and age-friendly RV space and function planning. Practice shows that the scheme can improve service quality and social inclusion, enhance the sense of safety and self-worth, promote synergy between culture–tourism and healthcare, and provide a scalable path for upgrading the mobile-eldercare industry and building international tourist destinations.
