- Abstract
The fundamental task of education is to “cultivate virtue and nurture people”, and ideological and political education, as an extremely important part of the education system, covers the education stages of primary, secondary, and tertiary schools. Based on this important reason, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed the construction path of “implementing the integration of ideological and political courses in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools”. Under the guidance of policies, educational institutions in various regions have carried out teaching practices of ideological and political courses, exploring the path of integrated construction of ideological and political courses. Research has found that the theoretical foundation for the integration of ideological and political courses is relatively complete, and various levels of organizational structures are actively exploring in teaching, reflecting the problems in content control, teaching connection, and teacher collaborative education ability. Based on the above analysis, this study proposes targeted suggestions to promote the development of the integration of ideological and political courses in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools, break through the current bottleneck, and achieve the educational goal of ideological and political education.
