- Abstract
This article analyzes the necessity of deeply integrating ideological and political education with translation courses. Based on the reality of translation teaching, it proposes ways to achieve this integration, namely, planning the overall approach, constructing an ideological and political education material library, innovating teaching mode, and improving teaching evaluation. The aim is to further enhance the teaching quality of translation courses, comprehensively improve students’ translation skills and international communication awareness, ensure that translation teaching in universities fulfills the fundamental task of cultivating students’ moral character, fully promote Chinese culture to “go global” and provide a new research perspective for the ideological and political construction of foreign language courses.
