Abstract

From the perspectives of region and topic selection, this paper combs the current research situation of folk songs in China for nearly 30 years, in order to summarize the law, and "continue to talk" on the basis of previous studies. The research finds that: collecting and sorting out, cultural implication, linguistic research direction are the main research approaches; distinctive regions and ethnic groups are prominent; comprehensive theoretical research is still hot, and folk songs research enthusiasm has risen since the new century, with a high level. Therefore, in the future, the study of folk songs in our country should achieve four points: first, to study the typical regions; second, to focus on the development of inheritance and the excavation of regional culture with characteristics; third, to increase the research of aesthetics, artistic style, comparative study, teaching research, inheritance and innovation; fourth, to adhere to the combination of field research and text research, qualitative and quantitative research, and to study the "living" folk Ballad.
