Abstract

In this article, through the analysis and exploration of modern chinese food culture and Taoist health preservation theories thus conclude the relation between Taoist health preservation theories and modern chinese food culture. To summarize chinese food culture from dietary concept, dietary content and cooking methods perspectives, to explain Taoist health preservation theories from basic concept, philosophical foundation,basic theories perspectives, to make comparison of two aspects. The conclusion is that the Taoist health preservation theories reflected in chinese food culture are mainly manifested in the maintenance of "xing" and "qi".
