Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Humanities and Social Science Research (ICHSSR 2020)

After successfully held for five times, the annually held conference, International Conference on Humanities and Social Science Research came to its sixth conference on April 10-12, 2020. In light of the situation of the epidemic COVID-19, the 2020 6th International Conference on Humanities and Social Science Research (ICHSSR 2020) was held via online platform this time. ICHSSR 2020 served as an international forum of the dissemination of the latest origin research, achievements and developments in the field of humanities and social science research. It also aimed to boost the academic exchange and cooperation between China and other countries.

Organized by AEIC Academic Exchange Information Centre, ICHSSR 2020 was co-chaired by four renowned scholars in this field. They are Prof. Jin Wang, from College of Education of Zhejiang University, China, Dr. C.Y. Huang, from Tongji University, China, Prof. B. Achour, from University Mohamed Khider of Biskra, Algeria, and Prof. Felley Gabriel, representing University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, Switzerland. The committee of this conference was composed of nearly 80 experts and scholars around the globe. Then we were so thrilled to have invited four distinguished professors to hold their keynote speeches for this conference. Prof. Rostam J NEUWIRTH, from University of Macau, China, perform his research on Legal Education in the Time of “Artificial Intelligence” and other Oxymora. Assoc Prof. Han-Teng Liao, from Sun Yat-sen University, China, held a speech with the topic of A Research Agenda for Social Data Science: Can Data Save the People and Planet? Then we had Assoc Prof. Goran Basic, from Linnaeus University, Sweden, talked about Expectations and variations in social pedagogical work: an analysis of narratives concerning work with unaccompanied young refugees with experiences of war in institutional care in Sweden. Last but not least, Assoc Prof. Yuliya Shamaeva, Head of the Department of the English Language, from Faculty of Foreign Languages, Vasyl Karazin Kharkiv National University, Ukraine, held a talk on Multimodality of the category EMOTIONS in art discourse: a fractal semiotics perspective. All of them shared their valuable studies on Humanities and Social Science Research with our enthusiastic audience.

ICHSSR 2020 aims to present the latest research and results of scientists related to Humanities and Social Science Research. Therefore, we compiled a bunch of excellent papers featuring the latest advanced studies on the following five main topics but not limited to: 1) Education; 2) Social Sciences; 3) Culture; 4) Sports; 5) Law, politics, psychology, communication. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard.

Thanks to the information technology, the online conference made it easier for more people join in our conference. We would like to express our gratitude to the Chairman, the distinguished experts, as well as all the audiences. Without your supports and assistance, this conference could not continue to be successfully held after the original plan was changed. We hope this conference can greatly promote research and developmental activities in Humanities and Social Science Research and make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in this field. We are expecting more and more experts and scholars form all over the world to join this international event next year.
