- Abstract
Based on online review texts in user-generated content (UGC), this paper combines field interviews and observations to distill the typical space use needs of children, parents, and healthcare workers. The KJ method is applied to generalize and form five categories of perceived attributes. Then, the Kano model is used to construct a questionnaire to identify 14 satisfaction attribute categories of indoor space needs. The results show that most user needs are focused on the expectation and charm types, with a few being necessity types, reflecting that users are concerned about basic comfort and safety while expecting the space to be more efficient and interesting. The study further assessed the impact of satisfaction on each functional element through the Better-Worse coefficient. Finally, the design optimization path of basic security, process efficiency, and experience is proposed, emphasizing the construction of multi-level consultation spaces from different user perceptions to enhance the overall experience of children’s medical care. The study provides theoretical reference and data support for the humanized design of medical space.
