Abstract

British and American poetry helps to improve people’s language and spiritual state. Through the analysis of the teaching examples of American poetry The Wild Honey Suckle, this paper expounds the significance and ways of the localization of the teaching of British and American Poetry, and highlights the role of the localization of the teaching of British and American poetry in arousing students’ emotional resonance and cultivating their cross-cultural awareness.
