The first International Conference on Social Science, Political Science, and Humanities (ICoSPOLHUM) 2020 is organized by Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Malikussaleh. The theme of this conference is “Covid 19: Challenges and Opportunities in Constructing New Social Order in Disruptive Era”n and the sub-themes are Local Knowledge, Culture Development, and re-Interpretation of Identity Politics during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Mass Communication Intelligence and Local Wisdom durin Covid-19 Pandemic, Public Sector Reform: Digital Transformation in the New Normal.Business responding to the Covid-19 outbreak, The Construction of the New Normal and the Social System Transformation after the Covid-19 Pandemic, Politics during Covid-19 Outbreak, Strengthening Digital Economy in Constructing Digital Societ, The work of Law in Society during the Covid-19 Pandemic and the New Normal, Empowering e_Learnin during Covid-19 Pandemic and Embracing the New Normal.

This International conference is hoped to be able to bring together academics, researchers, government offficials and other relevant parties around the globe to contribute in order to gain comprehensive knowledge on various aspects of the current phenomenon of Covid-19 Pandemic. This is one of Universitas Malikussaleh’s attempts to be participating through an academic platform to provide significant contributions to address issues present in the global society.

The conference was held virtually via zoom on 4-5 November 2020 with the agenda that This international conference will be the annual agenda of Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Malikussaleh. We do hope that in the coming years the conference is held offline with more Challenging topics.
